Log Your Memory Monday/Catching up for January

Thanks for coming back! As I said in my first post, one of my goals for this year is to complete all of the Log Your Memory weekly challenges. So far I'm keeping up with that goal, and I'd like to share with you the layouts that I've completed so far.

Week One: Find Your Focus/Lists
The challenge for this week was to write your journaling in the form of a list. The example was a list of New Year's resolutions, but I didn't make resolutions this year, and decided to focus on something else for my list.

My journaling focuses on some of the things for which I was grateful when I was in the hospital at the beginning of December. (For more information on my health situation, please visit my CaringBridge site).

Week Two: Find Your Focus/Choose One Word
The challenge for this week was to create a layout based on one word you'd like to focus on for the year. My "One Little Word" for the year is "Healing." I created this layout to be printed and hung in my scrap space, to inspire me throughout the year.

Week Three: Find Your Focus/Share a Dream
The challenge for this week was to scrapbook a dream. I was going to scrapbook about what I wanted to do with my life when I was a child, but then one day everyone in my family remembered their dreams. This doesn't happen very often, so I decided to scrapbook about that instead.

Week Four: Find Your Focus/Pick a Project, Any Project
This week's challenge was to create a layout about a project (or list of projects) you want to complete. I focused more on my planner personality in my layout.

Welcome to my scrappy life!

Hello, and welcome to my scrappy life! Please take a moment to look around and get to know me. I love to scrapbook and I want to share that love with you. I started this blog because I have three big scrappy goals for 2011 and I hope that posting here will keep me accountable. I'm going to put these out there, so come back and make sure I keep up!

My Goals for 2011:

1. Complete all the Log Your Memory challenges for 2011. If you're not familiar with Log Your Memory, visit the site or click on the button on the right side to check out all the different logbooks that are available. I have both the wall calendar and the small printed journal for 2011, as well as the download version. I just love my logbooks!

2. Complete one past online class assignment per week. I take a lot of online scrapbooking classes, so if you want to be enabled, hang out here! Unfortunately, I haven't completed all these classes. One of my goals this year is to complete one past assignment every week. Sometimes this will be a whole layout, and sometimes a smaller assignment. I'll probably also be taking new classes, and hope to keep up better this year than I have in the past. If not, I'll just have to add them to the list!

3. Focus on and keep up with One Little Word with Ali Edwards. I chose the word "Healing" for my word for 2011. If you want to know more about why, click on my CaringBridge site on the left. This is obviously a huge focus for my life this year, and it's about more than scrapbooking, but it's also a scrappy goal. I'm going to try to keep this blog focused on my scrappy life, so please visit CaringBridge if you want to keep up with my health status.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you around a lot!
